Dems lied to push agenda

  • Follow Letters

As U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson of South Carolina so succinctly put it: “You lie!” Now, Chief Justice John Roberts, three liberal justices and one moderate justice of the U.S. Supreme Court have said the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is a tax.

The president and his Democrat cohorts repeated over and over that it was not a tax. They lied! They deceived the American people to get the bill passed. The top interpreters of the Constitution said that justification with the Commerce Clause would be unconstitutional. Being an “expert,” President Obama might have known that, but admitting it was a tax during the Great Recession would doom it.

Is it any surprise that business has been reluctant to add or create jobs with the “largest tax increase in history” facing them? Between COBRA/EMTALA (free emergency treatment for everyone, legal or not) and PPACA – and the fact that the United States does not enforce its immigration laws – America should be a giant magnet for foreigners who want part of the largesse of progressive socialism.

Everyone is looking to the Nov. 6 election even though ex-ACORN people will be out in force to vote for the dead (life-challenged), and the tabulations will be done by a Spanish company – after being bailed out/funded by the Export-Import Bank of the United States, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank.

The IMF decision will be made by a French woman. France elected a socialist. The French love Obama’s policies!

A HUGE lesson for Chief Justice Roberts

YEP Chief John Justice Robert learned A HUGE lesson this time , NOW HE KNOWS WHO HIS REAL FRIENDS ARE and he also learned who the BACK STABBERS ARE , if you do NOT do what the conservatives want you to do they will STAB YOU IN THE BACK , you either vote there way or they WILL MAKE YOUR LIVING HE??

Here are some SIMPLE FACTS at 1st Chief Justice John Roberts was going to vote to opposing the health care bill ,he thought about a little more and then changed his mind , so then what happened the conservative Justices Thomas, scalia ,& Alito tried for over a month to have Roberts change his mind and come back to their point of view and my understanding is they really turn up the heat on Justice Roberts because they knew his vote would mean more than anyone's because after he is the CHIEF JUSTICE , BUT Chief Justice John Roberts once his mind is made up NO ONE is going to change it.

But now he is TAKING THE HEAT he is now hearing what all the RIGHT WING WACO'S are saying about him and he has really found out who his real friends are , so NOW the conservatives MAY HAVE some real trouble on there hands ........................YOU DO KNOW WHAT THE OLD SAYING IS ABOUT PAYBACK............................PAYBACK IS A ? ? ? ?

Liars for Willard, blast us Democrats and yes, weep!
Shall we Democrats take back the Senate. Yes, with Willard's help!
Why think that business experience could necessarily help someone when that someone does not care for us? He loves America in the abstract but not in the flesh!
I'm a man,by the way! Morgan and Lynn can be male names.

In 1966 Teddy Kennedy came

In 1966 Teddy Kennedy came to my college to speak in favor of the Vietnam war. Yep, he was trying to rev it up. He told us that he was first against it but at that point he was for it (Johnson pres) but then he again came to be against it (Nixon). Can you spell "politician. "

Just the facts- Well Obama'

Just the facts- Well Obama' book is full of lies as was his last campaign, yet that doesn't seem to bother you! I'll ask the same question I have asked Obama supporters since yesterday. Obama has increased the Feredral debt more in 4 years than Bush did in 8. How much longer can we support this kind of Debt?

Just the facts-Roberts would

Just the facts-Roberts would have been reviled by the Left as a right wing partisan if he had voted against it. I think that perhaps Roberts nailed the lid shut on Obama care by limiting the commerce clause and blocking Medicaid expansion. The limit on Medicaid expansion is going to blow a budget hole because Obama was going to shove a bunch of the burden for poor health care on the states. Many states are going broke and simply can't afford Medicaid expansion such as California. Don't forget this bill is front loaded and reduces federal subsidies to states each passing year after the first couple of years!

What About the Republican Lies?

Why is Mr. Tatum only concerned about the Democratic party lies? The Republicans lie too.

I like to watch both Fox News and MSNBC. Both networks are propaganda outlets for their parties. It has value because they tell on the other party's lies.

I recall...

I recall Nixon on TV saying "I am not a crook". A few months later he was impeached. Then there was Clinton, saying "I have not had sex with that woman", only to explain later that his definition of sex was different than that of normal human beings. I also recall a time when telling the truth was simply a normal part of everyday life.

Aren't our elected politicians supposed to be setting a good example for the rest of us? Why do we allow them to get away with lying to us? Could it be that America is losing it's moral values?

I'm really concerned for the young people who are being indoctrinated into this lower form of existance, where they are told ever day that it's ok to lie. What kind of world are we allowing others to create here?

Techfan, once again, when

Techfan, once again, when Bush took office in 2000 the national debt was $ 5.76 trillion when Bush left office the National debt was about 10 trillion dollars, the debt under Obama has gone from 10 trillion to 15 trillion. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57400369-503544/national-debt-has... note: this is ABC news. You did a neat trick, if I owe $100 dollars and I increase my debt by $100 I have increased my debt by 50% but doubled the my debt. If Obama’s spending continues at the rate he is currently spending the debt will increase by 89%. Techfan, what is Obama’s pan to reduce the deficit?

Once again, you fail to

Once again, you fail to realize that government, like businesses, operate on a fiscal year. Bush's budget ran until Sept. 30, 2009. Obama's current budget will run until Sept. 30, 2013.

Just the Facts. Obama said

Just the Facts. Obama said that he would have health care hearings on C span. Were they on C span? Obama said he would post bills five days before signing the bill into law. Has Obama done that? Obama said he would run a revenue neutral government yet he has added $ five Trillion dollars in debt to the national debt. Has Obama kept that promise? Obama, during an interview with George Stephanopoulos said this was NOT a tax. Obama's Solicitor General then argued before the Supreme Court that it was indeed a tax, which is subterfuge at the worse! Who has told the worse lies? Either Obama didn’t believe it was a tax yet allowed his Solicitor General to lie to the Supreme Court or Obama felt it was a tax but lied during his interview with George Stephanopoulos. Those are the only two choices I see!

Techfan...How could Obama's budget run until Sep 30 2013 when he doesn't have a budget. You just keep letting facts get in your way.....sort of like when you said that a country that has all of the material necessary to construct a production reactor has "uranium that they can't use." Pesky little facts.
You even said that Obamacare would cause the healthcare industry to have more paying customers...but couldn't back up that statement either.

There are indeed tax increase

There are indeed tax increase on middle income families; If you buy a house or earn more than $200,000 in property rental you will pay a 3.8% tax. Here are seven more taxes an middle income families http://nation.foxnews.com/obamacare/2012/06/29/obamacare-seven-new-taxes... So there you have it either Obama didn’t know what was in the haeth care bill or he lied!
