Many of our leaders are Paine graduates. We are very fortunate to have Paine in this community, and should treasure its many significant contributions.

The recent articles in The Chronicle appear to cast an aura of downfall on the college that is misleading. Paine officials, as they recently met with many alumni, assured them that whatever problems they are experiencing will be resolved in a timely fashion.

Paine has had challenges before, and we know the college will prevail. We appeal to the community at large to support Paine, as it has done in the past.

We are fortunate to be alumni of Paine, and value all the experiences we received there.
