Obama killing democracy

  • Follow Letters

Seeing the venom coming out of the supporters of President Obama defending his every decision, I can’t help but to think how these people’s minds work.

Obama goes to our colleges and to his fund-raisers and is cheered as a rock star. He starts off with a big smile, tells everyone how happy he is to be there and then tells a little joke, lulling the crowds into a hypnotized state. After that, he mesmerizes the masses into submission, telling them what they want to hear. Everything is rosy in Obama World according to him.

He touts that the economy is better, even though he added $5 trillion to the deficit – but when they go to the pump and to the grocery store, many can’t buy what they did before he became president, finding that their basic standard of life has diminished. The reason for this? Obama wanted to level the playing field dividing the rich from the poor. What he has done was stop the flow of progress, forcing all to fear his next debacle.

His “Robin Hood” complex of taking from the rich to give to the poor makes no sense. Why would anyone want to strive to become better if all their efforts of struggling only afforded them a position on the same level as everyone else?

Going after our new youth voters reminds me of what Hitler’s youth movement did in World War II. Hitler spewed out his rhetoric, convincing them that he was their great hope to make a master race. He turned the kids into spies and robots who got people killed.

Obama has convinced his radical left to do his bidding – all the while killing democracy as we know it.

Gregory J. Topliff

Warrenville, S.C.

Yes, in late 1960, in a secret underground laboratory below an extinct volcano in Kenya, the Soviets began to hatch their master plan. After secretly kidnapping Stanley Ann Dunham and artificially impregnating her by sleeper agent Barack Obama, Sr. (who was later killed in automobile "accident"). She was then brainwashed and teamed up with another sleeper agent, Lolo Soetoro (who later died of "liver failure"). They moved to Indonesia to give birth to the planned super sleeper agent, Barack Obama. While there, he was indoctrinated in the madrasa covertly named Besuki Public School, and another madrasa covertly named St. Francis of Assisi School. Obama was then smuggled into Hawaii where agents in The Hawaii State Department of Health secretly changed the birth certificate of another infant to show that it was Obama who was born. As a child, Obama was then abducted by a group of communist and socialist aliens by being beamed aboard their ship and taken to the planet Birtherparanoiaracistopia where he was further trained and implanted with a fear ray that he could use on all those who opposed him. They then beamed him back to Earth, and the rest is history. How could Americans have been fooled by this imposter?

Reading from a post from last night, the Washington Post, hardly a "right wing" website, is this: WHITE HOUSE VISITOR LOG SHOWS LOBBYING GOING STRONG. So folks, how's all that hope and change going for ya? Yeah, I'm laughing.

OBAMA AND HITLER

How many times did I hear Bush compared to Hitler? Lost count. I even heard a few, especially the Einsteins in Hollywood, refer to Bush as "worse than Hitler." Now the shoe is on the other foot. The liberal's favorite puppy is getting the comparison, and they can't stand it. Yeah, I'm laughing.

I'm pretty sure Techfan is just being sarcastic because she can't actually refute anything in the letter with facts, so she attempts to make the letter righter seem loony. It's a very common tactic of the left.....can't refute with facts.....attack the writer. It appears that she isn't the only one here that just attacks the writer instead of refuting a single thing he wrote.

Godwin's law

"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."In other words, Godwin observed that, given enough time, in any online discussion—regardless of topic or scope—someone inevitably criticizes some point made in the discussion by comparing it to beliefs held by Hitler and the Nazis."

Mr. Topliff instantly Godwins the discussion. That makes his letter easy to dismiss.

It's a shame that the LTE

It's a shame that the LTE format inherently limits word count. Mr. Topliff never got a chance to mention jet contrails, water fluoridation, cattle mutilations, and Champy, the Lake Champlain monster.

And if someone is waiting for a "serious" refutation of this letter, please explain how you counteract something as batspit kookoo as the idea that the President is some sort of latter-day Rasputin, shooting his Mesmer-rays into the minds of the young to dominate and control? Or alternatively, explain how you can hold any form of rational discussion with someone lacking the basic level of honesty to admit that comparing the actions of Adolf Hitler to President Obama, or ANYONE ELSE in our elected gov't for that matter, is stupidity in the clearest and most literal sense of the word.

Anyone who orders the assassination of an American citizen without due process must hate democracy-actions speak louder than words. Further he takes no prisoners of war just drone attacks and boom-innocent people are likely being killed because our intel can't tell us squat about anything-except now likely America is filled with terrorist because of leaky borders and maybe Iran is building a nuclear weapon but it will be years down the line, and Korea has nuclear capabilities just nothing to get it there. Jeez. Now please defend the undefendable.

Bizkit, we bombed downtown

Bizkit, we bombed downtown Baghdad for over a MONTH. Do you HONESTLY believe that unmanned drones inflict more civilian casualties than repeated air strikes on civilian populations?

I fully agree that assassinating American citizens without due process flouts U.S. law. Granted, it is strange to see such an outpouring of support for an individual considered by the CIA to be the head of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, who was barred from ever returning to American soil, and whose citizenship had attempted to be revoked by Republican Congressman Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania. Somehow I think the American democracy may be able to survive the assassination of an Islamic terrorist ...

"Obama ordered the killing of a US citizen with no trial, hearing, or anything. How is that not a violation of the Constitution and democracy? Or do you just want to depict me as loony as well?"

THIS!!

Of all the false things that the fringe has accused Obama of- this seems to get ignored!! Addams has it right. This is fact is the way you beat Obama this election.

Sure, maybe this American was a bad guy- but he still needs a trial. Maybe he made bad youtube videos, maybe he didn't. Maybe he was a terrorist, maybe he wasn't.

This is a terrible slippery slope. Obama already signed a law saying American's who are terrorists can be detained indefinitely. And now he is killing citizens without trial. Most American's might swallow this at the moment, thinking "Oh, that guy is AQ, he deserves it."

But what about next month if there is a protest against the President? Maybe those American's fall under the umbrella. What about some of the posters on this site? It's not crazy to say it can happen to anyone in the future, since it's happening to some now.

demonetization of your

demonetization of your adversary is common practice coming from the days of the GOPAC philosophy on how to get elected (a Newt Gingrich founded group). It worked in the 90's but for the most part has lost it's glitter. It is time for the real discussion that promotes the 'best' man for the job, using affirmations of your candidate to support your cause. It is so interesting that you really don't hear republicans supporting their candidate, just a litany of our cultural demise should the good people of America desire President Obama's second term.

Burninator you need a lesson

Burninator you need a lesson in logic-no one supports the terrorits just an American's citizens right to due process. If he is gulity then a court of law would determine (just like with the Gitmo detainees). So I assume you fully supported the war in Iraq because of all the intel about WMDs and you fully agree there were tons of WMDs when we attacked because our Intel is beyond reproach???? Or maybe our intel stinks and we need a trial to see who is guilty and who is innocent.

If Obama would travel to

If Obama would travel to Gitmo and put a bullet in all the detainees brains then, at least, he would be consistent with the assassinations. The man must be retarded because there is no method to his madness. I still believe if he feels he will lose the election he will likely claim Mitt is a terrorist and have him assassinated. What's to stop him???

I read in a lot of places it's not 48% of the voting block that pay no INCOME taxes. That 48% number comes from everyone in the country, to include children.

My numbers? Well, 20 percent

My numbers? Well, 20 percent of Americans are children 15 or under. Most of them aren't paying income taxes. Eight percent of Americans are unemployed, they are not paying income taxes. That's 28% right there easily, we can add another 12% to the unemployed- because of how the numbers are counted. That's 40%.
