Don't put in arena skyboxes

  • Follow Letters

Yes, let the refurbishing of James Brown Arena begin, but we definitely do not need any skyboxes.

How about first replacing or repairing the antiquated public-address system that cannot be understood at all on one end of the arena – in Sections 118,119, 120 and 121 – which has been non-operational now for several years? How about replacing the big scoreboard over the middle of the arena that also was broken beyond repair? Other competing arenas have big overhead boards with large video displays, which also enhance advertising.

We do not need any skyboxes. No one will buy them.

He's right... it was pretty

He's right... it was pretty bad listening to the sound system and watching the video board that's not much bigger than some large screen tv's when the PBR came to town. It had rained that day and the people around me as well as myself were constantly being dripped on from the ceiling.
