Senior Expo was wonderful

The Senior Expo, held Feb. 16 at the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library, was the perfect exposition for us seniors – and young folk, too.

The Scarlet Divas of the Red Hat Society attended this seminar and were greatly impressed by the program. First, there was a genuine friendliness throughout the room from the beginning to the end of the session.

Then each vendor and assistant was caring, thoughtful and helpful. No one appeared to be bored or disconnected. We were given handouts and goodies, and they answered questions and directed us to further assistance if needed.

The presenters were knowledgeable and informative. We did not worry about the time. We learned so much! All in attendance can attest to the presenters’ worthiness. Everything was clearly explained. We could ask any questions, and all questions were answered and treated with respect.

Besides the trays of danishes, bottles of water and cans of drinks, and we had many chances to win door prizes.

We thank the sponsors of this activity and the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library. We look forward to the next Senior Expo.
