Obama is interfering in Wisconsin

  • Follow Letters

The president has done it again -- broken the law of the Constitution of the United States.

First it was Obamacare and forcing each of us to buy health insurance against our will and in direct violation of the Constitution. Now Obama has inserted himself and his political machine -- Organize America -- into the rights of the people of Wisconsin.

By lending his support to organized labor in Wisconsin, the president has violated the 10th Amendment of the Constitution: "The powers not delegated to the United States, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

In simple language, for the liberals: The states have the right to deal with organized labor for state workers, and the U.S. government -- Obama -- cannot interfere with that right, as he has.

Similarly, the states can't interfere with U.S. government rights. A classic example was when the air traffic controllers staged an unlawful strike years ago; President Reagan fired them all and hired new controllers. The state, the legislators of the states and the governors could not interfere with those actions.

What's next, Mr. President?

So what happens if they can't

So what happens if they can't depend on you? Happens daily in this world, a unforeseen event. People lose their jobs, business fails or worst. As far as this lesson in government, the 10th Amendment is not in violation. You will have to find another reason to fault President Obama. Look at it this way, you have at least over five years to find something.

HAKI, "at least five years?" Have you seen the latest polls? Looks like more "change" is coming in 2012.

sorry southernguy... but

sorry southernguy... but with the canidates the GOP has lined up, no way. Of course die hard 'faux fans' will vote for ANYBODY after their indoctrination. Always wondered how some of the early century world leaders got into power... seems we have the answer with the republican party we now see in action... turning politics into religion is always a poor and unproductive effort.

It is almost 2 yrs before the election and the community organizer keeps right on proving he has no respect for our country and constitution. Every day he proves he is not qualified to be president. By Nov of 2012 even I will able to beat the community organizer.

You really think that all you

You really think that all you have to do is 'show up' to win... GA thinking for sure, but across the nation by 2012, the chaos you religious patriots will have created will be your undoing. Remember, it is the 'independents' that elect the President... not the crazies in the house.

You are correct and most of the tea party members are independents. I'm one of them.

What do expect from someone

What do expect from someone who wants to be a dictator -- or that is what the actions seem to point toward -- not rule by the people but by one man/woman that holds the office.

faithson, I could put my dog

faithson, I could put my dog up against obama in 2012 and he'd win. It's gonna be an easy victory. Obama is in incompetent, inexperienced, bumbling, fascist fool. He is un-American and craps on the constitution.

He just did it again a day or 2 ago. Obama’s decision not to fully enforce the Defense of Marriage law has directly violated his constitutional duties by arbitrarily suspending a law.

A law, by the way, that Democrat Bill Clinton signed into law. How ironic.

The only part of this country obama cares about are the declines he can demonstrate for his fellow kenyans.
