Just keep talking it up, Sarah Palin

It seems that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin thinks those of us on the left wish to "shut her up." Nothing could be further from the truth.

Every time she opens her mouth, she demonstrates her shaky grasp of facts and her appalling lack of logic and reason. Why would her opponents want to silence her? She makes our case for us!

Shout it out, Governor!

Hmmm, Obama vs. Palin. Palin

Hmmm, Obama vs. Palin. Palin is not a socialist, Obama is a socialist. Palin believes in the Constitution, Obama sees it as an inconvenient legal document to be circumvented. Palin loves this country and the things that made it great, Obama loathes this country and the things that made it great. I kind of feel about Obama like you feel about Palin. Every time he opens his mouth, he demonstrates his shaky grasp of reality and his appalling lack of respect for our Constitution, our freedom, and our tax dollars.

Even is Palin was dumb as a rock, and she is not, I would vote for her over Obama. It's not like she could hurt this country any more than Obama/Pelosi/Reid have.

I don't suppose the venomous Palin Haters, such as the writer of this letter could give examples of her having a "shaky grasp of facts" or an "appalling lack of logic and reason." It's far easier for them to just keep saying she's dumb over and over and hope someone believes it.

Palin-sent the setting

Palin-sent the setting Governor of Alaska to Jail for corruption, Obama helped re elect the corrupt Governor of Illinois. Palin-actually has helped build a small business her and her husband started into a multi million dollar business, Obama lined his pocket at tax payers expense, and help destroy the community he organized. Palin -mayor, sat on the Alaska board of natural resources and was Gov, Obama Illionis Senator and 1/2 term as legislator and no body can figure out what he did other than pass the kill a baby born alive act. My Favorite Obama speach (a PREPARED SPEACH) 2008 memorial service in New Mexico "We are here to honor a long line of fallen American heros, many whom I see in the Audiance before me" Next favorit Obama quote "We have all our liginquests in Irag we need to end Iraq so we can send them to Afganisthan" well they speak Pushtan in Afganistan and farsie in Iraq, but obumbler is the smartest guy in the room. There are hundreds of Obama's gaffes but hay, like the magic trick, point at Palin over here and miss the fact Pesbojangles ain't got a clue LOL brilliant, absoultely brillant. It takes the press 24-7, the media elies and Obama to try to make Palin look stupid-Presbojangles makes himself look stupid all alone..t The Kenyan needs to go home...BWAHAHAHAHAHA

This country's unemployment
Unpublished

This country's unemployment is at 9%, something Obama claimed would never happen if he got his stimulus package. We've hit a record 14 trillion in national debt, 3 trillion Obama's first year in office. And terrorists are bigger and more numerous than ever, even thou Obama was supposed to bring us all together. The left can't defend the incompetence of this administration, so they have to take the focus off it by ranting about Sarah Palin, someone not even in office anymore. Yeah, I'm laughing. More "change" is coming in 2012 baby!

If I were a Democrat, and I

If I were a Democrat, and I am not, I would love to see Sarah Palin run for president as a Republican. Nothing could assure a Democratic victory better than to have Ms. Palin as their opponent.
Bill Maher said America is a stupid country because of Sarah Palin's elevation as a VP candidate. At first I was repelled by his statement, then as the new president and his colleagues took office, I realized how correct he was -- America is a stupid county.

Poor Sarah. I actually like

Poor Sarah. I actually like her as a person. At least she seems honest which is a rare thing in politics. She has gotten a bad rap but she has said some bonehead things. I wouldn't vote for her as president because I don't think she's smart enough. Then again I don't think Obama is either. We need a president who is a big thinker. We have some serious problems and I hope and pray a candidate comes along who really has a true vision for this great country. I liked Ron Paul and I would vote for him. Sarah Palin would never in a million years win the republican nomination. Like I said she's got some smarts and she's acts tough but unfortunetly I believe she's a paper tiger.

Barack Obama, Sr grew up in

Barack Obama, Sr grew up in the British colony of Kenya. Barry's (Jr) stepdad, Lolo Soetoro grew up in the Dutch colony of Indonesia. Both father and stepfather were anti-colonialists. They believed that nations have become rich on the backs of their colonies i.e. the “rich” have become rich at the expense of the poor. This explains why he stops drilling for oil in the Gulf and subsidizes state-controlled Petrobras in Brazil -once a Portuguese colony.

This country was stupid

This country was stupid enough to elect George W for a second term after being appointed by the Supreme Court for his first.

By far, the best thing for the Democratic party would be the Republicans
choosing Palin as their candidate. What a joke she is, how much respect would any foreign country have for this smiling, winking, dumb clown? All she needs it a red ping-pong ball on her nose.

jack--more respect than

jack--more respect than obama. 2000 election was not decided by the supreme court..all you libs keep saying that..the state was called for gore b/4 the polling stations were closed in heavy republican areas. this was the media attempt to suppress republican vote.. gore and his comrades tried to get military votes thrown out.bush simply got more votes...and after the fact new agencies recounted the fla. vote and if memory serves me..not one came out in gores favour...again jack what are your accomplishments?? palin may not be be presidential material but she certainity was more qualified than obama, biden and mccain..anyone who comes out of the executive branch of govt is head and shoulders above the rest..simply by the fact they have to run budgets..so please again ..palins views are debateable thats fair...but these attacks on her intelligence is pure fantasy ...and was it not the left that is crying for more civility in our dialogue ..as always with the left.. its doesnt apply to them...

Sarah Palin represents

Sarah Palin represents everything the extreme left detests:

Success.
Enthusiasm.
Love of Country.
Patriotism.
Capitalism.
Limited government.
Freedom to bear arms.
Personal responsibility.
Individualism.
Self-sufficiency.
Belief that govt isn't the answer to EVERYTHING (in fact, to very little).

Wow, no wonder they are so afraid of her. The Conservative Majority. We are silent NO MORE!

Name not important, ‘I hope

Name not important, ‘I hope this country isn't stupid enough to give this woman a chance at the presidency.’
It seems people in this country will vote anything into the WH.
After all an unqualified community organizer was elected.
But the real problem is we have a big % that will vote for the community organizer in the hopes of getting ‘some of the Obama stash’.
As I have said before Hussein is a very troubled person, you have to feel a little sorry for him. His mother was a person of very loose morals; his father deserted him when he was small. His mother took him to Indonesia where he was trained FOR 5 YEARS AS MUSLIM then dumped on his grandparents. His grandfather should have sorted professional help him but instead introduced him to the radical racist communist Frank Marshall Davis as a mentor. He then sat in Rev. Wright’s church for 20 yrs listening to him preach racism & hate for the USA, white people and Jews.
It is small wonder Hussein has mental problems but what concerns me more is the intelligence of the people that votes for him. Our country can survive 4 years of Hussein but can it survive having a large % of citizens that would vote for a mentally disturbed community organizer? It is a little scary when you look at history a large number of Germans voted for a mentally disturbed person named Hitler. Hitler also had a very troubled childhood.

Somebody should ask Sarah

Somebody should ask Sarah Palin what she knows about the original Boston Tea Party, why it took place and what came in its wake. Look at the list of statements that this woman has made over the last 2 years. It is simply beyond belief that anybody would ever want her as the leader of the free world and chief executive in charge of our highly complex government.

This is the same woman who told Charlie Gibson of ABC in a nationally televised interview that her foreign policy expertise included the fact that Russia could be seen from an island off the coast of Alaska. This, I might add, is an island that Palin had never once set foot upon. “You never know when ole Mr. Putin is gonna come flyin’ over here…”. Yep. She actually said that in front of a camera and was dead serious.

When asked which periodicals and publications she has been reading to keep up on national and world affairs, Palin told Katie Couric that she reads “them all”. Whenever Palin is baffled by a question she uses her standard “I like ‘em all” answer, and that’s what she did. To this day, we still do not know what Palin reads to keep informed about national issues. Until four years ago, she never even had a passport and had never left the United States.

Like Christine O'Donnell, Sarah Palin has stated publicly that she does not accept the theory of evolution, and that she believes in a literal translation of the Bible. This means that Palin believes mankind walked alongside living dinosaurs and that the world is only 6,000 years old. Of course, when asked which book of the Bible she likes most, she said, “I like ‘em all.” Now, certainly, people are free to believe whatever they like, but Palin’s utter rejection of the scientific method and anti-intellectual attitude hardly makes her the ideal leader of a nation of 300 million people.

When asked by Glenn Beck who her favorite Founding Father was, Palin stumbled with the question, then said– you guessed it– “I like ‘em all.” When pressed by Beck, Palin said she liked George Washington the most, not knowing that Washington was a general and not one of the Founding Fathers. Furthermore, in her stone ignorance, she chose a man who actually favored a strong central government as well as the formation of a national bank. In other words, George Washington stood for everything that Palin says she is against.

Probably one of Ms. Palin’s most hysterical misstatements occurred during the campaign when she referred to “the great country of Africa”. More recently, she didn’t seem to know why there was a North and South Korea. One has to wonder if she thinks the Berlin Wall is still standing or if she can’t figure out who’s buried in Grant’s Tomb.

When Palin resigned her position as governor of Alaska 18 months before her term was up, she said in a televised statement that she did it because “most lame duck governors just go on junkets and cost the tax-payers money. I didn’t want to put the good people of Alaska through that.” So she quit. Later, she said that she quit because of all the lawsuits concerning her ethics violations and abuses of power. More recently, she has said she quit because she couldn’t help the American people unless she was freed from the responsibilities of that job. Now. she’s giving speeches for $100,000 a pop.

During a Tea Party convention in Nevada, Palin made several insulting remarks about President Obama, one of which accused him of being “a law professor lecturing the American people behind a lecturn using a teleprompter.” Of course, she failed to realize that she was doing precisely the same thing, only she was using the palm of her hand instead of a teleprompter. I suppose she expects the President to memorize all of his speeches, including his State of the Union addresses. In any case, Palin clearly doesn’t think that knowing the law and the Constitution is an asset for a president, nor does she believe that the President of the United States deserves even a modicum of respect. Perhaps a plumber would be better. Or a sportscaster. Or a beauty contestant. Doesn’t matter. Palin likes ‘em all.

What Palin is most known for is her bald-faced lie about “death panels” in the health care reform bills. Despite the fact that every fact checking organization had debunked that outrageous lie, Palin stuck to her guns. Of course, she would never admit that private insurance companies already utilize de facto death panels by denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions and canceling the policies of people who become ill. According to Sarah Palin, the insurance companies are more interested in providing decent medical care to their customers than just increasing their profits.

Palin has referred to President Obama on numerous occasions as a socialist and even a communist, even though the two philosophies are quite different. She refuses to define what she means by “socialist”, no doubt because she doesn’t have the definition written on the palm of her hand. If she did, she would know that none of Obama’s policies are socialistic because Obama has nationalized no businesses and, even in the various rescues of failing corporations, he hasn’t put any government employees into the boardrooms. Those companies needed to be bailed out in order to avoid a greater economic catastrophe. Of course, Palin believes that Obama should have just let the auto companies fail, even though doing so would have caused hundreds of thousands of Americans to lose their jobs and essentially turned over that industry to foreign manufacturers.

While Palin attacks Obama’s economic policies, leave us not forget that this is the same woman who asked the government for a $230 million earmark to construct a bridge to nowhere. When the press picked up on this chunk of Palin pork, the request was immediately withdrawn. Palin says she believes in the "free market". She would de-regulate and permit certain tax loopholes to remain which allow corporations to continue their practice of out-sourcing to countries with cheap labor and no worker protections.

In a closed session at the White House, Rahm Emanuel told a group of liberal activists that their idea to air attack ads targeting conservative Democrats who were against the health care reform bill was “f’ing retarded”. Palin, who has inserted her special needs child into the political arena before, got ahold of this remark and demanded that Emanuel immediately resign. Then, when Rush Limbaugh said on national radio that all Democrats are retards, Palin went on FOX News and said Rush was using “satire” to make a point. She defended Limbaugh’s use of the word and his characterization of all Democrats. While his use of the term was insensitive and inappropriate, Emanuel said that an idea was “f’ing retarded”, while Limbaugh was using the term to describe a group of people he doesn’t like. But, according to Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh should get a pass. This could be a blatant case of hypocrisy, but it could also be that Palin is just too dim to understand the difference between what Emanuel and Limbaugh said.

Sarah Palin is an “empty vessel” and a demagogue. She doesn’t know enough about politics to even be called an ideologue. Anybody who listened to her speech in California last weekend heard with their own ears that she never speaks in specifics about any issue and is always on the attack, never offering a single constructive alternative. Why? Because she doesn’t have any. It is far easier to make insinuations, use innuendo, and attack someone with empty-headed sarcasm than it is to develop your own well thought out ideas and articulate them in a comprehensible manner.

We all get a good laugh about Sarah’s gaffes and absurd statements, but it’s time to stop laughing. This is a person who is building a political movement on the cult of her personality alone. She is a classic fascist masquerading as a populist who has managed to win the hearts and minds of far too many gullible, misinformed Americans. Even if she never ran for president, her influence on our political process and election outcomes could do great damage to the country.

I wrote this a little while back but you all get the point....

I agree with chascush. America will elect anything and anyone - especially those who promise them the most goodies without having to actually...gasp....work! obama is the proof.

We'll correct this massive mistake in 2012 (if we survive his hatred of America, his anti-capitalism stance and his clearly pro-muslim leanings).

Yea right guess whu, the left

Yea right guess whu, the left was so obsessed with her that they launched multiple lawsuits at her that would have bankrupted her personally, cost the state of Alaska a bundle, and kept her from being able to properly fulfill her duties -- so she quit. I and YOU would have done the same thing.

The left got their hateful wish. Now if we could only figure out how to do the same thing to the community organizer.
