The big revolution is coming Nov. 2

  • Follow Letters

There are 12 days until the revolution. Some may ask, "What revolution?"

I would answer:

- a revolution against arrogant anti-capitalists who believe America is the source of all evil in the world;

- a revolution against all who say that redistribution of wealth is the way to prosperity;

- a revolution against heavy-handed dictates from the Democrat-controlled Congress, which continually rule against the will of the majority of Americans;

- a revolution that says you don't make the poor rich by making the rich poor;

- and a revolution of historic proportions that will send a clear and concise message that leftist policies have not, and will not, work in a representative republic.

But mostly, it will be a clear message that the American people have had enough.

Vive la Nov. 2.

William Davis

Excellent letter Mr. Davis. I

Excellent letter Mr. Davis. I am one of the 'fed up'. I am looking forward so much to a good romp on Nov. 2nd. I will accept any margin of victory, but I think we need to make it so clear that even a democrat can understand.

I'm enjoying the change in socialist Germany and the discomfort in socialist France. Socialist England is reducing their subsidy giveaways by $170 billion next year and socialist China is moving more toward capitalism every day. Has anyone noticed what's happened to socialist Greece?

It's all the same. One party takes control...screws up...people get mad and vote the other party in. The new party screws up...people get mad...so they vote the old party back in. Same ole' same ole'!

Nothing will really change on November 2nd and anyone who thinks it will is deluded.

Just out of curiosity, what will happen if the actual numbers don't really change following Nov 2? Will the empty rhetoric continue building up for the "real" revolution in 2012? Will anyone take the hint that maybe those who bluster so do not, in fact, speak for the majority of Americans?

LOL, the liberal left slammed

LOL, the liberal left slammed America in the face with anti-capitalism and a form of "share the wealth" socialism that's failed 100% of the time that it's been tried in the last century...and it's proving to be a total failure here also. The previous system wasn't perfect and needed fixing, but that's a lot different than enslaving the nation, the goal of socialism.
I appreciate the extremism of the current administration. Without it we, as a nation, would never have made the needed effort to save the country. While things were bad before, obama has shown us they could be MUCH worse.
Now is the time to remove the socialists, the self-indulgent RINOs and all of the rest of the narcissistic elite that infest our nation's capital. It will take more than one election cycle and more than a "once a year" effort from concerned citizens.
This November can be the important first step, but the effort will take several more election cycles to achieve the necessary shift to constitutionalism.

I really don't expect a

I really don't expect a Revolution on Nov 2. We are "stuck on stupid." Obama lied when he said health care reform would reduce health care costs etc. Health care reform is going to increase health care costs with 1.5 trillion dollars added to the national debt over ten years. Obama lied when he said you could keep your health insurance if you liked it. Health insurance companies are raising rate 14% to 20% and reducing benefits to cover the first phase of health care reform. Even Richmond county government is having budget troubles meetingthe increase in health care insurance for employees. Ther is a national drug wide shortage of basic drugs such as lasix because tort reform was kept out of health care reform so rich Democratic lawyers like John Edwards could continue to pillage health care. Well now companies that produce basic generic drugs are quiting because of low profit margins and legal liability and foriegn countries don't want to sell in "America becuase of over reguation and tort liablities. (You think you would hear about this in the "lame stream" media, but again "stuck on stupid"). www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/DrugShortages/default.htm This is only health care reform I haven't gotten to finnancial reform, the stimulus package with the African male crotch washing program and other money wasting programs, like wind mills built in China and Spain! Dispite all this we we have folks still defending this liar and his cronies in congress. Oh they are also easing wire tap rules for the civil libertarians out there that bashed Bush over his civil rights abuses! STUCK ON STUPID!

You're close. Virtually all of them are controlled by international bankers and the Council on Foreign Relations. We need a good, strong third party. We also need a treasury secretary who isn't a CFR puppet. Can you imagine how difficult getting out of debt would be for a family whose financial advisor works for Capital One or Mastercard?

The following letter tells

The following letter tells the real problem; from the Czech Republic newspaper Prager Zeitung on April 28, 2010 that zeros in on the really serious problem in this country. ‘The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.”
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him president.’

Well, we will see what is

Well, we will see what is going to happen but I think the Tea Party movement may have peaked too soon.

Seems like the things have cooled down quite a bit in the past two months.

Less interests in the national election it seems.

With bot Reichpublicans and Dimocrats we lose, I guess we lose a little less with the Grand Old Perverts in control of the congress and a Slick Demoncrat in the 'White' House.

Only someone who gets their

Only someone who gets their news and talking points exclusively from Fox, WGAC and the AC could believe the content of this letter. The author obviously isn't big on history, but I would encourage some quality reading time to not only learn that US foreign policy is not, never has been and never will be infallible, but also that every single instance of real socialistic insurgency has happened in places where income disparity was absolutely obscene. The current crop of Democrats are moving to the right as it is; the Republican opposition basically promises to aggravate every problem they created in the last 30 years, and it's all being framed by multimillionaires who could not care less if we all disappeared permanently from the middle class.

Jon- The polls for Obama are

Jon- The polls for Obama are worse than they were for Clinton when the Republicans took over the house and Senate during Clinton's first mid Term- Pray tell what history are you reading? The right created problems? It was Jimmah Carter , Clinton, and Lawyers like Obama that created the Community Reinvestment Act and inforced it that made banks give loans to people who could not pay them back. It Was Barney Frank who allowed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to get leveraged so badly they are failing and leaving us on the hook for billions up on billions of dollars, and refused to put reforms for Fannie and Freddie into the finnance reform package..OH, I'M SORRY, all is well, Obama Pelosi and Reid are all in charge...

Whoever or whatever we elect,

Whoever or whatever we elect, they will be better than the socialist regime we have today. Our current regime drove up our deficit by taking $700+ billion from us for a simulus for "shovel ready" infrastructure projects. What did they do with it? They used if for a Union bailout slush fund. Now Obama wants another $50 billion for ........"shovel ready" infrastructure projects. What he is going to get is about 150 million angry taxpayers. Unemployment is going UP. The deficit is UP. The cost of healthcare insurance is UP. They took everything they wanted from us and nothing improved. In fact, things are WORSE. Socialism DOES NOT WORK. Never has, never will. Government interference in the economy DOES NOT WORK. The economy works on confidence and certainty and guess what.....nobody has any confidence in the anti-business Democrat regime in power today and they are afraid to invest their money because nobody knows what these socialist lunatics will come up with next. Maybe the Republicans are not the total answer but if we keep changing our politicians about as frequently as we change our underwear they will get the message sooner or later. What we have now is not working. If the ones we elect this time do not do right, we can change them out for new ones next time. This election is not about the individual candidates. This election is about sending a VERY LOUD MESSAGE to ALL politicians about spending, taxing, and socialism.

I believe that the

I believe that the Conservatives will have a new lease on life after this election. If it is to be a Revolution these Conservatives will have to stay right instead of shifting to the middle as usually happens after the elections. If it turns out to be a "No Change In The Status Quo Revolution" of the sort we got with the last Conservative sweep into power, then, I believe you will see a Revolution.

Imaginary. The most likely

Imaginary. The most likely result of this glorious revolution is a lame duck administration and congress. We can't afford that right now. The imagined ideology figured into this argument is rhetoric passed down from those seeking power. The most logical way to vote right now is for a government that can create legislation and action to move us past this time. It doesn't matter what party is in power, that is an illusion. Obama has made all of the right decisions not because he is a democrat but because he had to: the options are few and obvious. Crippling him now will cripple the nation. Enjoy! I'm headed to Afghanistan where I can get some peace from all this idiocy.

Yes, a huge Revolution is

Yes, a huge Revolution is brewing!

However, it does not stop there. Afterward we need to hold these new politicians feet to the fire. Call them and email them regularly to keep them in check. If we don't, they too might slip into the comfort & power of Wash DC and fall victim to the big govt trance. Changing of the guards is great but you still have to manage them.

We also need to be prepared for the France & Spain-type riots that will ensue as the entitlement crowds see their free ride disappearing. Tough times lie ahead.

Reforms are needed in all of our top spending areas and this includes programs like social security, pensions, retirement benefits, education, medicare, medicaid, military, etc. This will not be easy, we will all sacrifice, but this is what we are asking for. You cannot ask for lower spending and not look at all of our programs equally, that is hypocritical.

Lets keep the momentum going and vote out the rest of the anti-business circus in Nov. 2012. Starting with the ringmaster, obama himself.

Great letter Mr. Davis!

Running up 800 billion

Running up 800 billion dollars to "stimulate" the "econcomy" was hardly the right move. We were lied to about shovel ready jobs, and how much unemployment would be if we passed the PORKULUS bill. Well here we are, debt increased 3 trillion dollars, unemployment stuck at over 10% (per Gallup poll), a health care system that is already breaking down and creating finanacial hardships for businesses, employees and city and state governments. Obama didn't have to make those moves. A lame duck congress is better than cap and trade, based on a lie about "Glo-Bul" warming, and more left wing lunacy..

Republicans don't need to

Republicans don't need to lie. The democrats have made this revolution very simple with their radical policies and anti-free market rhetoric.

Now, speaking of lies..........I wonder who promised us these things?

Open & transparent administration
Post all bills online for citizens to review & comment
No tax increases on anyone under $250K
The healthcare bill will save American's money
No earmarks
Closing of gitmo
End the wars
No lobbyists or special interest groups setting political agendas, working for him or giving him donations

Now there's a pack of lies and that's only about 10% of the problem American's have with our community organizer.

carcraft you need to check

carcraft you need to check your facts the bill that was signed to not enforce the proof of your wages and total income was under GW bush in 2004. Wall street the crooks was making some much money bundling these worthless mortgages that they convinced intelligent Bush to stop some of the regulations on the loan industry. You know the regulations that all the righties think hurt the economy. I do believe too much regulation is bad but to think that free market without them and the billion dollar corporations will do the right thing for the people,America is just crazy. We are only suppose to eat one fish a week from the waters here in Ga due to pollution, Without regulations we probably wouldn't have any fish alive. The crooks ought to be in jail. The CEO of Country Wide walks with a fine it's not right he should be rotting in jail.
