Emergency staff deserves thanks

  • Follow Letters

Our son, Parker, recently was injured in a lawnmower accident. It had to be under five minutes before the EMTs were on the scene. They stabilized Parker and transported him to the airport. He and I were airlifted to Medical College of Georgia Hospital. Officers of the Wrens Police Department were at every intersection, ensuring safe passage the entire way.

At MCG the team was waiting. Parker immediately was taken to emergency surgery. Everyone from the top down made us feel like we were the only ones there. And they do this for everyone!

Without the prompt response from the Wrens team, MCG team and prayers and support from the community, I`m sure things would not be as positive as they are. We could tell you all "thank you" a thousand times, and it would not begin to describe our gratitude.

Thank you all again so very much.

can't forget about the JCSO

can't forget about the JCSO deputy's that helped out too. Mr. Chance thank you. Your son was brave during the whole thing. Glad he will be ok. i was one of the wrens officers assisting your son and EMS going to the airport. We don't get much thanks but knowing that we have touched one life, that makes all the difference
