Beloved MCG executive will be missed

For those of you who never met, knew or worked with Pat Sodomka, you missed a wonderful opportunity.

As an associate professor of medicine at the Medical College of Georgia for the past 17 years, I had the good fortune to know and work for this wonderful MCG executive. Although her death was only a few days ago, I miss her terribly already.

As a proponent and advocate for patient-centered care, Pat had the tenacity, motivation and drive to make the patient the center of medical care. Her warmth, total devotion and motivation to the care of our patients will never be forgotten. We have all suffered a great loss with her too-early death.
