Don't change the subject

Democratic lawmakers seek scapegoats to divert eyes from real problems

Either this guy is just plain off his rocker, or it’s part of an intentional campaign to shift the blame and change the subject.

People waited in line during a job fair Aug. 18 at Atlanta Technical College in Atlanta.

Either way, he ought to be tossed out of Congress on his stump.

U.S. Rep. Andre Carson, D-Ind., said at a Congressional Black Caucus event recently that Tea Party supporters in Congress would “love to see us as second-class citizens” and “would love to see you and me ... hanging on a tree.”

That’s right. He believes fellow members of Congress who want smaller government and a balanced budget are murderous racists who want to lynch blacks.

Again, either this guy is completely detached from reality, or he’s trying to create a diversion to protect Democrats in Congress and the White House from the consequences of a historically devastating economy – one that Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz admits “we own.”

Either way, Carson should resign or be booted out. Such hateful, divisive, racist and insane rhetoric has no place in halls of power and dignity.

It also calls into serious question a caucus that would abide such hate speech in its ranks.

Congressional Black Caucus chairman U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., is a United Methodist pastor, it’s noteworthy to mention.

U.S. Rep. Allen West, R-Fla., told Cleaver in a letter that he might quit the caucus over Carson’s race-baiting intolerance.

Considering caucus member Maxine Waters’ recent tirade – in which the California Democrat told constituents the Tea Party could “go straight to hell” – it appears the CBC is well on its way to being a pocket of neo-bigotry – the very marvel of racism he accuses others of being.

The saddest part of all this is that some will lap up the bowls of prejudice and hatred people like Carson are peddling – and may miss the fact that the liberal Democratic failures behind the curtain are helping to destroy black America. Fact: the official African-American unemployment rate under the current crop of leaders in Washington is at 16.7 percent and rising. When you count those who’ve simply given up looking, it’s likely much higher.

Among black youths ages 16 to 19, the unemployment rate is a stunning 46.5 percent.

Rather than lash out at others to seek to lay blame and divert attention from the awful truth, our leaders need to come together to find solutions.

It may feel good to scapegoat an enemy, but it sure doesn’t get anything done.

To the members of the black

To the members of the black caucus the very mention of less government means less for them. This causes a misunderstanding of what the TEA Party is about. You won't be able to change their minds, they really believe that the TEA Party wants to take away their livelihood.
It is a shame that they can't see that the TEA Party is not about them, it's about the country...The TEA Party has a much, much bigger cause to work for.

What's the unemployment rate

What's the unemployment rate among our area's Black males who are from 16 to 25 years old and who are alumni of the Richmond County School System? Higher or lower than the stunning national figure of 46.5%? I'm thinking higher. What do you think?

Covering up liberalism's failures is what the CBC's members are aiming for. If racially inflammatory speech works, we'll hear more of it.

We now know the Democratic

We now know the Democratic stratgy for the 2012 election. Since the Democrats can't run on their record guess what? Blame and libel anyone who disagrees or points out the obvious fact that Obama and the Democrats have been massive failures. I think America is getting tired of the race card. The problem is you can't succeed by runnig against some one or something. You need to put forth actual programs. So far all the Democrats programs from the stimulus program, cash for clounkers etc have been epic diseasters.

Mr. Carson's words are indeed

Mr. Carson's words are indeed biting. I am personally offended, as I am a Tea Party supporter. Fiscal responsibility is a meaningful mandate. I think Herman Cain is a cool guy, and I sure don't want to hang him from a tree.

The true tragedy of the

The true tragedy of the racist black community is their replication of white rasist tactics from the past when their time was fading. Political power since before the Civil Was was based to a great extent on racism. That's why the great equalizer, a good education and a mixing-pot of hardworking individuals wanting a better life for their families, is a significant threat to those who want to delve on minor issues such as race, gender & religion. They fear lose of power.

Unfortunately, the radical wing of the Demoncratic Party is in panic-mode to destroy any opposition and frankly I don't think they give a "tinkers damn" about the black race except as a political tool. I saw the same during the '60s by white racist who used their race as a tool to dominate. As the saying goes, it may take a few more funerals (peaceful) to get younger generational leadership.

I found this article

I found this article interesting this morning.
Obama Has selected Alan Krueger to chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. In 2009 Krueger proposed in his NYT blog to instituting a 5 % consumption tax (VAT) on top of income tax. He acknowledged that it would be a "greater burden on the poor..."

This is the Obama as we know him..he pretends for the sake of votes to care about the poor, but look at his actions.

The race war has been raging

The race war has been raging ever since obama took office. All the political commentators called it 100% correctly back in 2008. They said that if Barack Hussein Obama was elected, anyone who DARE question him or his govt would be labeled a racist.

Bingo!! The dems never fail to let me down. The immaturity, the blaming, the finger pointing and the continual personal attacks are getting old & tired. The American public is getting sick of them too.

Hey, here's an idea. Instead of attacking the Tea Party, how about the Black Caucus try to solve a few of their own societal problems? Look inside yourself instead of outside yourself for blame.

Everything associated with

Everything associated with being black is deemed inferior. It has been this way since the end of the Civil War. Black neighborhoods, black schools, black workers are prime examples. Until that mentiality is changed, the unemployment among them will be high. Do you think the Greenbrier, Evans, or Grovetown High Schools, get the same amount of money and program as Laney, Butler or Josey? Does anyone consider Paine as a better school than Augusta State, even thought you can get similar Bachelor degrees from both? Does any one outside of this area think that Herman Cain is a better candidate for president that Michele Bachman or Mitt Romney? Been black has always been equivalent to being inferior, until that changes, the unemployment number will be high in that community as well as the option for better health, education, etc.

As far as the remarks that were made, it is just the same rheotic that both groups have been throwing out. One representative saying Obama's policies are like "tar babies", to another saying blacks will be "hanging from the trees" by a Democrat. It just shows how people who really don't have any social skills, go out and try to "shock" America into their beliefs without thinking about what they are saying. They all need to go in my opinion.

onlysane1left. The only

onlysane1left. The only people that can change that "inferior" feeling is the black community themselves. The govt, the media, the entertainment industry and the US citizens have done everything they can. It MUST come from within at this point. And it needs to be done soon - the govt welfare system is doing everything it can to destroy the black family unit, which is a devastating tragedy for black children.

Regarding Herman Cain, I'd vote for him over Romney in a heartbeat. I absolutely love Herman Cain! I'm tied between him, Paul & Bachmann - I beleive they'd all be great at the job. I vote for substance, not color & not gender.

Regarding the schools. I'm willing to bet that Greenbrier & Lakeside receive equal state funding to Laney & Butler (based on student population of course). Federal funding is tied to results to that is variable. And County funding is tied to property tax revenue so I'm sure that Greenbrier and Lakeside get more county funding. There is no educational conspiracy. But you are welcome to do some research & try to prove it.

The political tactics used by

The political tactics used by Republicans and Tea Cup members to block jobs creation so they can deter voters to elect a Republican president,in 2012, this will not work. The House Republicans and Tea Cup party tricked naive voters to take control of the House not to create jobs but to hinder job creation legislation. Its not about big spending its about making our president fail. Keep pointing the finger at President Obama for not creating jobs this will not deter him from a second term in 2012. Republicans and Tea Cup members need to show the American people they job creation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "If Congress need to spend more money to create jobs lets do it the people need jobs not a party crying all time about the President Obama's spending".

Constituent- The Democrats

Constituent- The Democrats controlled the House, Senate, and White House for two years and spent over $800 billion dollars to "stimulate" the economy and we have continued to lose jobs. So please explain to me what the Republicans and Tea party have done to stop job growth? All we want is to stop creating a debt so large eventually we will be broke! How much more money do the Democrats need to spend? The $800 billlion "stimulus package wasn't enough? Stimulus money was actually spent to build wind mills in China and Spain. $500 million was spent on a "green Company" that farmed prodution of goods to China before it went bankrupt and people were laid off. Obama and Biden both touted the "green jobs" this company was supposed to produce. (look up the company Solyndra) Blowing money like this won't leave you much change, little hope and nothing to believe in! LOL None of this had a thing to do with Republicans or Tea party members. Lets go a head and waste more money on garbage like this so Obama and the Democrats can try to create more Jobs, Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!

The TEA Party sure did a lot

The TEA Party sure did a lot in a short period of time. Without the comments from the left I would never have realized the group had so much power. Smart people, that TEA Party group. I love the TEA Cup name, maybe we can start a young TEA Party group and call it the YTPCups..
