We've detailed just some of the world-class hatred and bile spewing from the ultra-liberal left wing recently. But it's the gift that keeps on giving. So here's some more.
Leftist actor Sean Penn says of his critics, many of them conservative, "Do I hope that those people die screaming of rectal cancer? Yeah."
Nice.
And defending his pal, Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, Penn says, "Every day, this elected leader is called a dictator here, and we just accept it, and accept it. And this is mainstream media. Truly, there should be a bar by which one goes to prison for these kinds of lies."
Of course, Penn is showing his cosmic naivete: Chavez is morphing into a tinpot dictator before the world's eyes every day, taking over whole industries, stealing land and assets and shutting down dissident media, all moves taken right out of the Dictators for Dummies book. But beyond that, Penn ironically, and idiotically, pines for dictatorial powers of his own -- the power to divine who is lying and to punish them with prison.
We checked the thesaurus. There are simply no words.
Meanwhile, Penn's friend, left-wing "comedian" Bill Maher -- who once called Americans cowards and said the terrorists are the courageous ones -- recently joked about the Pentagon shooter, saying "When we see crazy, senseless deaths like this, we can only ask why, why, why couldn't it have been Glenn Beck?"
He's right, comrades! Death to all who espouse traditional American values!
And speaking of enemies of the people, comrades, you are not to click on the Drudge Report Web site.
That's according to the Democrat-led U.S. Senate, which is telling its employees that the conservative news- aggregating site spreads viruses.
Yes. Like news and views that may not be in line with the president! That's what they consider "viruses" in this White House (see "Fox News, war on").
"On Monday DRUDGE served over 29 million pages with NOT ONE e-mail complaint received about 'pop ups', or the site serving 'viruses'," Drudge said in a statement.
The warning comes, Drudge notes, as the health-care debate reaches a climax. Odd timing.
By the way, where's the evidence that Drudge infected government computers? We'd love to see it.
The lack of evidence would speak volumes, wouldn't it? Can you say "purge"?
A troubling picture is emerging of a hate-filled, intolerant left wing in this country that is out to destroy conservatives (see "Palin, Sarah," "Beck, Glenn," et al.), mock and ridicule them in the foulest terms and, failing all that, to silence them.
It won't work. All they will accomplish is polluting America's air.
Weren't they supposedly against that?
Gee, another editorial about people who don't matter insulting other people who don't matter. Aren't there more pressing issues other than celebrities and their opinions to discuss?
check out tom hanks latest far left wing nonsensical rantings --just watched it on o-reilly, fox news. it was originally published in "time". funny how these hollywood types are such "experts" in history--and u.s. foreign policy.
I believe the Sean Penn comments represent the left's mindset. Censor anything that doesn't agree with the socialist views.
Fox is cowering down to the President-- ........
In response to President Obama's complaint that FOX News doesn't show enough Black and Hispanic people on their network, FOX has announced that they will now air " America 's Most Wanted" TWICE a week.
Right on again, AC! Guess some folks missed the actual point of the ed though, as it really is not about celebrities, or their opinions, as they were simply used as examples. The whole point is about the abject hatred shown by the left, towards anyone who expresses a conservative viewpoint.
After visiting the San Francisco Chronicle's site at the invitation of wyochuck (thanks Chuck) I'm here to tell you we have some of the nicest liberals in America right here on the Augusta Chronicle Website.
There's hatred on the far right as well as the far left. Thank GOD most people aren't either. We just hear from these evacuatory waste orifices more than "normal" people.
The plan of the liberals is to demonize Republicans. It's ugly as evidenced when Olberman, Matthews and Maddow start to have their tonic and clonic seizures screaming personal insults at Palin and Liz Cheney. It makes me want to run up to my TV and put a tongue depressor in their mouths before they bite their tongues off.
federalist--correct. been hanging out over at the san francisco chronicle blogs. their hatred of the right is unbelievable. constant bush-bashing all day long.
Ah, another good example. Obama slammed the Supreme Court at the State of the Union address. How do you criticize a branch of government that way and prod Congressmen to jump up, clapping and shouting against them? That was weird. Things like that have never been done.
I'd follow the lead of Clarence Thomas and not attend the next time.
If you had seen Glen Beck's program today, talking about his daughter who is disabled, that was not a seizure, that was his heart. Many do not know the difference between a seizure and feelings of a heart.
I don't generally watch Mr. Beck and I know nothing about his daughter. I was referring to a previous comment about leftists having seizures. Apparently it's OK to talk about Olberman having a seizure but not Beck. Right?
Actually, Beck speaks in a pretty calm way. I think that's one of the reasons he infuriates liberals so much. On the other hand, Olberman and company have obviously experienced apoplexy as evidenced by the spittle that drips down their chins. Seriously, have you not seen that as they rant?
Look everybody, just let the health care bill get passed, then we will know what's in it. We then can post on all the good FACTS.
Here's what I think. Obama wants the bill to fail so he can say Republicans blocked health care reform. That may help Democrats at the polls. On the other hand, if the bill passes, it is going to be like the peasants congregating on Frankenstein's castle with voters trying to get the evil Democrats.
George, you mean like the multi-trillion dollar FACTS?
Really, the Supreme Court debacle represents the administration's mistakes bigtime. Obama could be a great leader and I like a lot he does in that role even though I am a conservative.
But what he has to do is sit back, reflect on how a leader going another step on the ladder would say things and what he should say. A great leader doesn't attack the Supreme Court as he did. That shows his lack of knowledge of our constitutional government.
The facts are he is a great speaker and needs to use that ability to show those such as the Supreme Court justices (and the world watching) that he is a leader. His legacy is on the line. Kennedy would stay above things. See what I mean?
Sarge, if this destructive carp is ever passed, our grand's would wish they only had trillions to pay back.
This 70 old no nothing tart is tired. I think I will sip up the sleeping bag hoping my 5000 share buy of Good Year pays a little tomorrow.
CUL all tomorrow.
cobalt--nancy pelosi comment "pass the obamacare bill so you will know what might be in it". stupidist, most jackass thing i ever heard an elected "leader" ever say.
Good night, George! Sleep well, my Friend!
Riverman says;"A great leader doesn't attack the Supreme Court as he did. That shows his lack of knowledge of our constitutional government."

As well as his disdain and arrogance for our American way of government.
Spot on Wyochuck! She is a wealth of stupidity and lies. Standing before cameras and boldly broadcasting lies that the majority of Americans know are falsehoods, is blatant arrogance. She and her henchmen are so far out of touch with the average American, I can't help but wonder what the heck their true purposes are?
I think that she is stretched so tight she can't think.
Way cool, KSL! :o) Took Precious to the beauty shop today after all my VA stuff, and the ladies were discussing Madam "P." One of them asked me what I thought of her, and I told her, well, her name won't fit in my mouth, but I thought she needs to go back to California, and never leave there! She fits that state quite well!
