Augusta Chronicle editorial cartoon, August 6, 2014
Unpublished

August 6, 2014

"The Augusta Chronicle comments are enabled for a robust but respectful conversation, not for personal attacks or harassment of others. You agree not to make racist, obscene or hateful remarks."

Apparently the "high standard" the Augusta Chronicle expects of its commenters is not expected of its editorial staff.

Today's editorial cartoon depicting children from Central and South America is the same kind of "racist, obscene...hateful" tactic used by Germany against Jews.

This is a new low standard for the AC's editorial page, which is low everyday, anyway.

Ooo that's good ...

but they won't ask.

Even more disturbing is that a recently leaked CBP report shows that most of the world is walking through our "border", including Chinese, Pakistani, Egyptian, Yemeni ... The report doesn't include data from ICE and of course who knows how many have come through unknowingly.

But I guess that's not a problem ... right?

I predict that in the future a biological attack will be made on America. The current border is a sieve and terrorists know it. What better way to attack us then by sending a diseased group of people into the open Southern boarder?

United States

We have the wrong name. These people are fleeing from the same things that created the United States. We have plenty of undeveloped land. Let them have it so they can have a chance at freedom without tyranny.

.
Can I get some of that "free" and undeveloped land? After all, I was here first.

And where do I go to find some of that "freedom without tyranny"? That would be really great. Not a lot of that lying around these United States lately either.
