It's amazing

what people will do to get taxpayer (our) money.
Individuals do it.
Businesses do it.
My, even governments do it.

"Augusta - The Garden City"? or "Augusta - The Welfare City". That will be helpful in attracting business. Come! Invest! Set up shop in our slum!

Got that right, Gaflyboy.

Rush to shoot themselves in the foot for the promise of easy money now and the ease of sticking it to us down the road for the payback.

Somehow, the guys missed the part about incurring more debt with a shrinking tax base being a stupid thing to do. The lessons of Detroit clearly have been wasted on the Richmond County Commissioners.

If the taxpayers and property owners of Richmond County outside the "slum" don't rise up and stop these loons, we will move yet another step closer to Detroit's destiny.
