Good heavens, Rick! You mean electing Richie the Round Tree wasn't an act of careful deliberation and rational comparison by Augusta's majority?! And there may even have been fraud involved?! Waaaaaaa...
Please, Rick, say it ain't so!
Some homeless people don't have address but that does not take away their right to vote. Maybe some of these addresses were used on a ballot. Maybe just maybe they camp out there. I know of some who could have and didn't vote but were to lazy to go out. Mr. Roundtree was elected so just suck it up and move on. Stop crying in your beer, tea, coffee or whatever and work with him to do a good job for Augusta and all it's communities.
Richie the Round Tree isn't really interested in "all it's [sic] communities", unfortunately. He's busy shuffling the sheriff's office around, demoting people who should be promoted, and adding people who are going to help him make a hash of law enforcement in Richmond County.
But, by golly, he wants to make us feel good about ourselves and reach out to all us would be criminals as part of the plan. I'm just so reassured.
And thanks for the reminding us who might have forgotten that Richie the Round Tree won the election, and for your gracious encouragement, PrayN4U. I'm sure everyone found your remark truly edifying. They made me thing about how wonderful Richie's inaugural ball is going to be. Sigh...
