It's not just sad

It's really more scary than sad, that people in such powerful leadership positions, in mentoring roles that have so much nationwide impact, could be so morally bereft.

How could we have elevated people who had such unresponsive consciences to these heights of recognition and respect? It so many ways, this says more about all of us than even about Paterno.

The adoration and adulation of fans can consume a mere mortal.
