Mr. McKee straining at least as hard as the character he draws to mis-interpret reality. To suggest that the President doesn't know the full dimensions of our fiscal challenges takes a huge leap into fantasy. Is it possible that the President knows more about the nuts and bolts of the fiscal challenge than Mr. Mckee and just disagrees how close the cliff is? Is it possible that he has his eyes wide open and knows all too well that his performance will be judged not only in an election, but by history? Apparently not.
How the heck does someone who has never had to make payroll and who has so few surrounding him who have had to know the "nuts and bolts of the fiscal challenge" even rise to the occasion? He definitely hasn't yet.
