    This would be true of the economy WERE recovering.
    An economic recovery would seem to me to be < 7% unemployment, a strong manufacturing base, and not selling all of our resources to China.

    Right, Philo. The Left will be pushing the "recovery" in the coming months, because they have to get their "savior" re-elected. He's all they have. It's hard to call it a recovery when the poor and marginal cannot afford to fill up their tanks and are resorting to stealing gas. Gas prices are up 100% under this version of Jimmy Carter, and that was his energy secretary's stated goal - to make the flaming Chevy Volt look good by comparison.

    Even at that, Volt batteries last what? 40 miles? You still need gas! AND $40,000 or so...
