In light of the tragic events

In light of the tragic events aboard the Costa Concordia, I find your cartoon an example of insensitivity and in extremely bad taste. I was shocked and mazed to see something like this show up as part of a slideshow on msnbc.com. People are dead. Imagine the families of those that lost their lives in this tragedy. I'm sure they would have nothing to laugh about regarding your work. In no way is this tragedy a laughing matter and neither is it appropriate to use it as a springboard for political imagery. I would hope that you will think of others before publishing something so insensitive in the future.
