Looks to me like he has both the LEFT AND RIGHT hand on the trigger. I noticed the artist has THE LEFT written on the RIGHT arm. :-)

That's because the left secretly wants to be just like the right.
Seeing what I want to see, as accused, I believe a FINGER (as a matter of fact the TRIGGER FINGER) of the right hand appears to be on the trigger. The fingers of the left hand appear to be interlaced with the fingers of the right hand; which is a recommended feature of a steady shooting stance. Also, I doubt that the sign THE LEFT was intended to identify which arm it's on.
