Actually the Cubans have done

Actually the Cubans have done a very good job of preserving vintage 50's cars because for many years that is all they had.

That old car with the bandage

That old car with the bandage on the door does remind me of Obama's health car plan. Great cartoon.

Very good Rick. dumbobama

Very good Rick. dumbobama actually thinks he has original ideas. He would do well to look at pass/fail results of previous attempts before he introduces anything.

Hussein should go down and have a meeting with Fidel. He would probably ‘have a warm feeling running up his leg’.

I wonder how many people on

I wonder how many people on here even know what you are alluding to Rick?

Folks, Fidel came out and said that Cuba's economic model doesn't work, and never really has. He has now said he was "misquoted" but I think he wasn't in fact.

Best One Yet Rick! Amazing

Best One Yet Rick!

Amazing that some here miss the point entirely!
Just like Communism, Socialism doesn't work either folks! Never has....never will!

So then why do you think our enlightened leader is so enamored with the concept?
Simply because, as he has stated many times, he is a firm believer in "social justice", which is just code words for taking from those that have, and giving it to those who want what you have, because they are too darn lazy to get off the couch, and go to work!

"But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society."
[Barack Obama]

The DUMocrats do not believe

The DUMocrats do not believe in trickle down economics and I understand why. You HAVE TO HAVE A JOB for it to work.

You can NEVER ever "give"

You can NEVER ever "give" someone a better life..They have to earn it.
Even rich kids with big inheritances screw it up sometimes...& that is one of the reasons very wealthy folks (like Buffet) only leave a portion of their wealth to their family.
Give a help-up not a hand out for life.
Good as usual Rick.

Socialism may not have worked

Socialism may not have worked in Cuba, but it sure has worked in the U.S.

The vast majority of Americans love such government programs as social security, medicare, unemployment insurance, etc.

It was socialism that got the U.S. out of the great depression. Even conservatives agree that World War II got us out of the depression. WWII was the ultimate public works program when the government took control of virtually all aspects of the economy.

Instead, it's the free market that is a proven failure.

Mr Kegbrat, saying the same

Mr Kegbrat, saying the same thing over and over, with nothing to support your idiotic statements, is not only annoying, but it doesn't make it true.

Yes, I too monitor other threads. Repetition is lame.

Either back up your deluded statements, or put the dunce cap back on and sit in the corner, until you can behave like an adult.

This is great Rick! I hope your next one will show Obama trying to 'sell' it to the American people. The savvy people would be recoiling in horror but the saps that fall for his spiel are holding up their piggy banks...

Obama has overseen the

Obama has overseen the creation of more private sector jobs in just two years than W did in 8 years!
.............................................................................
A PLAN EMERGES FOR GROUND ZERO

Is it possible that something very positive might come from the heated debate over the Islamic cultural center being planned in lower Manhattan?

I think the best possible plan for rebuilding on the site of such a tragedy is for it to become a center for all religions to come together.
Building a Mosque near Ground Zero is actually an idea that I think all faiths should consider joining in on.
If all faiths were to build houses for peaceful worship and cross cultural outreach there, this would truly carry forth in the clearest way possible the message that Americans utterly condemn and dismiss the philosophy of hate and division that the terrorists adhere to.
This is the one thing that we might do on this spot of such great sorrow which would cleanse it of the wicked mark placed there by fools.
That while their crimes will not go unpunished, their values will be dismissed, and their methods shunned.

Always start with a bald

Always start with a bald faced lie, right Chip? Then you can build out from there. Too funny!

Chipshirley.com: Where extreme leftist rhetoric, distortions, half truths and non-truths all swim together in a blissful sea of liberal blather.

Kegbrat, ‘Instead, it's the

Kegbrat, ‘Instead, it's the free market that is a proven failure.’
Socialist has failed everywhere but it will succeed here? Socialist always failed because sooner or later the guvamint runs out of other people's money to spend.
Capitalism built this country but the freeloading bunch of socialist parasites can destroy it.
A very good article that really sums up the problem.
‘The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
“The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.”
The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him president.’
I think the article was speaking of you Mr. Kegbrat.
