Prince ideal for House seat

I deeply regret the passing of one of Augusta’s most dedicated politicians, state Rep. Quincy Murphy. He will be greatly missed because of his tireless and unselfish efforts while working in the Georgia House of Representatives.

Soon, the constituents of House District 127 will need to vote for a qualified person who is capable of replacing Rep. Murphy. Brian Prince is that person. He has proven leadership abilities. As a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, he had the responsibilities to command, articulate and orchestrate orders to get duties done. The evidence shows in his military accomplishments.

I have known Brian for more than 40 years as a neighbor, teacher and coach. He always has been a leader and a hard worker. When he was a youth, I admired him because of his competitiveness and his positive attitude to stay focused on any task. He constantly strived to be successful, not only in sports but also in the classroom.

Brian is genuine, and a man of good character. He is a loving husband and father. He works diligently in his church and the community. He has the knowledge, credentials and skills that are needed to represent District 127 and the Augusta community in the Georgia House of Representatives.

I urge constituents in District 127 to go out and vote for Brian Prince on Nov. 5.
