So here’s the analogy: A man and wife disagree on how much to spend on groceries for the month. The wife says they should spend $500 per month, and the husband says they should spend $700 per month. Should the husband or wife threaten to not pay the mortgage if they don’t get their way on groceries? Of course not, because that would be stupid.
