I have said from the very first day that a national health-care system was even whispered about in Washington: Let’s have what our members of Congress have. There is a “national” plan out there for those folks, subsidized by our taxes. And as far as I know, those benefits follow them when they leave office.
What about the rest of us? Folks want something to protest about? This is the issue to march about – something people of all races can come together about. I personally think the insurance industry got in bed with our elected officials, and guess who is going to come out on top? It surely won’t be those of us who are being affected by it, or the health-care industry.
Take that to Washington and march about it.
