Forget the name, move on

That Georgia Health Sciences University President Ricardo Azziz is devious has been established. That the Board of Regents is dug in also has been established. What’s left? All parties must move on.

Excellence is not conveyed by the school’s name anyway. If regional and national prestige is to come to this university, it will be earned, and it can be neither rushed nor hindered. The name of the institution will have almost no bearing in the matter.

Forget Princeton and the University of Memphis. Think Mayo, Johns Hopkins, Duke and Emory. Score one for Azziz and the regents, and move on to new topics.
