Not all eyes are on Tiger

The front page of the Sports section June 15 bore the headline “All eyes on Tiger.” That is a misnomer, because not all eyes are on golfer Tiger Woods.

It is a fact that at the Masters Tournament on the 13th hole, he missed a shot and came out with the Lord’s name in vain, as he has on several occasions. I have, for what it is worth, boycotted NBC, as this has happened on several occasions, also on ESPN.

When we put our priorities on a person such as Tiger, we are showing what kind of nation we truly are. Support the golfers who show Christian attitudes, such as Bubba Watson, Ricky Fowler and Bill Haas, just to name a few. They have their priorities straight.
