Military treated shabbily

It has been said that in time of need, God and the soldier are in great demand. With that need satisfied, both God and the soldier are forgotten.

Such is the case today. Veterans in this country have paid an enormous price for the freedoms we enjoy. Now King Obama wants to charge us more for our medical care when the premiums already have been paid in full.

Recently Obama threatened to cut Social Security and Medicare payments if he didn’t get an increase in the debt limit. Strange – he didn’t say a word about welfare payments and support for illegals in this country. Also he didn’t mention using Air Force One for shopping trips.

The Pentagon soon will clean house by a reduction in force, getting rid of many who are overweight. Funny – it has not complained for the past 10 years. It just used them up and spit them out.

I can only hope that all the young people in this country can see how their government treats its military personnel.
