Letter ignores hatred coming from left

In response to the Democrat Doctor of Disinformation, Lowell Greenbaum, and his latest fantasy (“Shooting spurs an avalanche of 'whys,’” Jan. 13):
Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck never have advocated killing any public figures. However,  Chris Matthews and Ed Schultz  from MSNBC have mused over the possible deaths of  Limbaugh or Dick Cheney. Montel Williams suggested Michele Bachmann kill herself. No sign of righteous indignation from Dr. Greenbaum at the time.
Sarah Palin used a surveyor’s symbol, not a gunsight, on her map of Democrats to be unseated. Again, Dr. Greenbaum was conspicuously silent when Howard Dean, the former head of the Democratic National Committee, did use a gunsight map to target GOP members up for re-election.
In addition, although the words “clip” and “magazine” often are used interchangeably, they are not the same. A magazine is a small detachable box containing cartridges to be fed into the chamber, whereas a clip is usually a strip or frame for holding cartridges to be loaded into a rifle.
Furthermore, a true patriot does not and never would advocate the use of firearms for the purpose of intimidating or killing people.
