AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, April 17, 2012, Mrs. Frances Elizabeth Roper, 86, wife of the late Mr. Richard "Dick" Roper. Mrs. Roper was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, GA. She retired as a house keeper for Dr. Orlet and the late Dr. Still. She enjoyed the Masters yearly and loved the excitement it brought to her hometown. Family members include son: Henry McKenzie; daughters: Faye Eubanks, Toni Dear and Caroline Elliott; 7 grandchildren; nephew: Mike Ward and wife Beverly. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Pineview Memorial with Rev. Elsie Odum officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
