JOHNSTON, S.C. - Mrs. Betty Quarles Padgett, 54, of Long Cane Rd., wife of C.D. Padgett, went to be with the Lord Tuesday April 17, 2012 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 19, 2012 at 2 P.M. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Padgett was a native of Johnston, S.C. and was of the Holiness Faith. She was the daughter of Eva Bryant Quarles, Johnston, and the late Thomas Eugene Quarles. She was a retired Security Guard with Sizemore Security Agency and a Homemaker. Survivors include her husband, her mother, 2 Daughters- Leigh Quarles, Kelly (Mark) Parkman; 1 Son- Jonathan (Denise) Quarles, 1 Sister- Barbara Herron; and 5 Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister Mae Arrowood. The family is at the home and will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
