Raymond P. Holley (BATH, S.C.)

BATH, S.C. - Mr. Raymond Pierce Holley, 77, of 55 Hampton Dr., Bath, SC and husband of the late Mrs. Jeanette Keenan Holley, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 2nd ,2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Holley was born in Aiken, SC to the late Walter Raymond and Margaret Wooten Holley. He was a U.S. Air Force Retired Chief Master Sgt. with thirty years of service, numerous awards and commendations and a Veteran of the Vietnam War. After his retirement, he worked for the Aiken County Sheriffs Department and K-Mart in loss prevention. He was a life- long area resident, but while in the service he lived in Japan, Taiwan, Italy, Korea and Turkey. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, a life-long Mason and a member of the E.O.D. Master Blasters. He is survived by his children, Kenneth Holley, Bath, SC, Donald Holley (Rhonda Lee), Aiken, SC and Sandra Holley Williams (Chuck), Martinez, GA; a brother, David Holley (Lois), Langley, SC; a sister, Miriam Burkhalter (The Late Willie Burkhalter), Bath, SC, a very dear sister-in-law, Jeanette Mauney (Bobby); grandchildren: Jessica Mock, James Mock, Christopher Lybrand and Caitlin Holley and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 o'clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Roy Head and Reverend Daniel White officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bath, SC. Pallbearers will be the Pine Grove Baptist Church Deacons: Mac McKie, Donnie Swearingen, Jimmy Bagwell, Edward Jones, Jack Lott, Larue Godbee and Charles Adams.
