WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mrs. Linda H. Bales, 67 of Oak Grove Rd. entered into rest Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011 at her residence. Graveside services will be held Friday, Nov. 4, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Hephzibah Baptist Cemetery with Revs. Allen Danner and Steven Rayner officiating. Mrs. Bales, daughter of the late Grady O. and Mildred Turner Hall, was a lifelong resident of Wilkes County. She was a former textile worker and employee of Wilkes Health Care. Also, she was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church. Survivors: Husband: Thomas I. Bales; Sons: Keith Palmer, Washington, Glenn Palmer, Lincolnton, Randy Palmer, Rayle; Stepsons: Gerry Bales, Watkinsvile and Barry Bales, Gainesville; Step-daughter: Cathy Wilder, Asheville, NC; Brothers: Ray Hall, Washington, Grady C.
