HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Charlie Douglas of South Bell Street, Harlem, GA. entered into rest Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Trinity Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 11:a.m. at Water Branch Baptist Church, Grovetown with Rev. L. J. Tanksley officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery. He was a native of Columbia County, Georgia; a retiree of Georgia Iron Works after 35 years of service and a member of Water Branch Baptist Church where he was a member of the Trustee Board and the L. J. Tanksley's Male Chorus. Survivors are his wife, Betty Lamb Douglas; 5children, Charles (Tonya) Douglas, Pensacola, FL, Carla (Robert) Clay, Warner Robins, GA, Kemeatrices Douglas, Thomson, GA, Renee Douglas and Ramon Douglas, Augusta, GA; stepdaughter, Jamie Avery, Harlem, GA; 6 stepson, Alonzo Lamb, Calvin Richard, Michael Richard, Columbia, SC, Reginald (Nicole) Richard, Douglasville, GA, Steven (Debbie) Richard, Utah and Gregory Richard, Harlem, GA; 4 sister, Mildred (Mike) Thomas, Grovetown, GA, Jacqueline Calhoun, Thomson, GA, Blondell (James) McElroy, Martinez, GA, Beverley Boyd, Harlem, GA; 5 brothers, Eugene Douglas, Harlem, GA, David (May Lizzie) Douglas, Augusta, GA, W.C.
