EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Reverend Annie Mae Mitchell Butler,93, entered into rest October 28, 2011 at NHC Healthcare , North Augusta. Homegoing Celebration will be held 12 noon Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Edgefield with the Rev. Reginald Grimes officiating. Interment will be in Bland Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Butler, a native of Edgefield County was a member and Associate Minister of Bland Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Annie Mae (Allen) Williams, Trenton, SC, Myrtis (Joe Louis) Smith, Irmo, SC, Grace (Oneal) Freeman, North Augusta, SC, Viola (Theodore) Walker, Johnston, SC, Mamie Kimble and Henrietta (Rev. Reginald) Grimes, Edgefield, SC; two sons, George (Willie Mae) Butler, Jamaica, NY and Raymond Eunice) Butler, Clinton, MD; a sister, Sarah Hamilton, Edgefield, SC; a brother ,Rev. Luke (Laura) Mitchell, Aiken, SC; 26 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends .
