AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy Jones Bing of Sibley Road entered into rest on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Medical College of Georgia. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 12 noon at Ross Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Gordon A. Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Palmer Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Bing, a native of Richmond County, was retired from the Richmond County Board of Education. She was a member of Ross Grove Baptist where she was a deaconess, a member of Club #2, sang in the Senior Choir, and was church clerk for several years. Survivors three sons, Rio T. Bing, Eric W. (Velvet) Bing, Augusta, Herbert A. (Lori) Bing, Statesboro, GA; a daughter, Venice B. (Rudolph) Small, Augusta; stepdaughter, Gloria Walker, Hephzibah; sister, Delores Leverette, Augusta; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three brothers-in-law; nine sisters-in-law; two aunts; two godsons; two goddaughters; and other relatives.
