AUGUSTA, Ga. -Bonnie Joan Parsley Cobine entered into rest September 18, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Cobine was an avid bowler in the Ft. Gordon League for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening in her yard. She was very artistic and loved to paint. In addition to her love and passion for bowling and gardening, her greatest love was for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Cobine; and her parents, Leroy Parsley and Margaret Dodge Parsley. Survivors include daughters, Cathy (Gary) Brewster of New Orleans, LA; Bonnie Hobson of Martinez, GA; Shirley Kitchens of Evans, GA; and Laura Cobine of Hephzibah, GA; grandchildren, Gary Hyder Brewster, Jr., of LA; Corey Cobine of GA; John Halliday Brewster of LA; Randy Kitchens, Jr. of LA; Miriam Pritchett Brewster of LA; Christopher Hobson of GA; Jessica Kitchens of GA; and Kyle Austin Hobson, GA; one great-grandchild, Mary Catherine Brewster of LA; two sisters, Margie (Floyd) Sweany Downing, CO; and Bobbie Pickerel of CO; and dear friends, Bill and Monika Price. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia.
