Fannie Mae K. McBride (WAYNESBORO, Ga.)

WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Fannie Mae Kelly McBride entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2011, 12:00 noon, at Noah's Ark Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Karlton Howard officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Fannie Mae Kelly McBride was the daughter of the late Catherine Williams and John Kelly. She was born on April 10, 1026 in Waynesboro, Ga. Mrs. McBride was a member of Noah's Ark Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully as an usher until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucious McBride, Sr.; sons Phillip McBride and Lucious McBride, Jr.; daughters, Nellie Ann Carpenter and Jeanette Marie Holmes. She leaves to cherish her memories, five daughters, Elease Williams (Sylvester) of Augusta, Ga., Joanne Williams, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mary Jane (Bob) Wimberly, Brenda McBride, Waynesboro, Ga., Glenda (Xavier) Wimberly, Hephzibah, Ga.; seven sons, James McBride, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Roger McBride, , David (Rosie) McBride, Melvin (Mary) Brown, Melvin McBride, Alfred (Margaret) McBride, all of Waynesboro, Ga., and John McBride, Augusta, Ga.; three sisters, Pearle Williams, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Edna Sutherland and Rosetta Kelly, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four brothers, John Kelly and James Kelly, both of Brooklyn N.Y., Willie Williams, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Charles Williams, Waynesboro, Ga.; fifty grandchildren; sixty-seven great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; one god-daughter, Katie Mac McGee and other relatives and friends.
