AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, September 06, 2011, Mr. Robert Edison Schmitter, 91, husband of the late Martha Ann Schmitter. Mr. Schmitter was a native of Trenton, NJ and resided in Augusta. He served and retired from the U.S. Air Force and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Schmitter is survived by a number of grandchildren and a niece, Lettye Sue Horton of Louisville, GA. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
