GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest on Monday, September 5th, 2011, Mr. James Strom, 48, of 1526 Brookstone Dr., Graniteville, SC. Jim was born in Aiken, SC to Grace Armstrong and the late John Edmond Strom. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a commercial welder by trade. In addition to his parents, family members include three brothers, Edmond Strom (Rebecca), Ohio, John Strom, Augusta, GA and Mark Strom (Patti), Graniteville, SC; two sisters, Janice Blackwell and Martha Ann Wade (Maurice), all of Jefferson, GA and six nieces, Gabrielle Snodgrass, Erica, Sarah, Savannah, Sydney and Sinclaire Strom. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday at 4 o'clock in the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chad Carraway. Interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Tommy McElveen, Jeff Hamilton, Jerry White and Tom Johnson.
