Rosetta M. Strowbridge (WADLEY, Ga.)

WADLEY, Ga. - Mrs. Rosetta Hazel Mitchell Strowbridge entered into eternal rest on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Wadley, GA. Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 2, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wadley Complex Center Auditorium (formerly Wadley Middle School) with Rev. Terry King officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery in Millen, Georgia. Pallbearers are Corey Anderson, Freddie Strowbridge, Jr., Gerry Strowbridge, Jr., Gerry Strowbridge, Sr., Jasmone Strowbridge and Thomas Strowbridge, Jr. Visitation will be held at Hudson Mortuary in Wadley on Thursday, September 1, 2011 from 10:30A.M. until noon, followed by visitation at Peaceful Zion Baptist Church, Wadley from 1:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Cherished memories will continue to live in the hearts of all who came in contact with Mrs. Strowbridge including: her three daughters, Lillie (Gerald) Everett, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Nora (Charles) Hynson-Robins, Wadley, Georgia and Betty S. Fowler, Hazleton, Pennsylvania; her five sons, Rev. James Otis Strowbridge, Augusta, Georgia; Rev. Freddie L. (Sally) Strowbridge and Willie Roger (Jeanette) Strowbridge, Wadley, Georgia, Thomas L. (Mary) Strowbridge, and Lee Edward (Brenda) Strowbridge, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; one sister, Martha Wright, Wadley, Georgia; three brothers, George (Josell) Mitchell, Brockton, Massachusetts, James R. (Betty) Newman, Macon, Georgia and Moses Cobb, Augusta, Georgia; thirty-five grandchildren, seventy-three great grandchildren, twenty-four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
