AUGUSTA, Ga. - LillyAnn Dargin, 86, entered into rest Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at University Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. For many years she was a substitute school teacher in Hephzibah. She was a Boy Scout, a Cub Scout, and a Girl Scout leader. She was preceded in death by her husband, John I. Dargin; a son, John Dargin; her parents, Franklin and Josey Etterlee; and numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by a son, Charles F. Dargin (Kristina) of Augusta; a daughter, Ann Marie Cross (Robert) of Harlem; three sisters; one brother; four grandchildren, Melissa Ewest, Jonathan Doss, Brandon Cross, and Tiffany Cross. Five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation: 6-8 pm, Thursday, 09/01, at the funeral home. Funeral: 11 am, Friday, 09/02, at the funeral home. Rev. Danny McGill will officiate. Burial will follow at Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery.
