WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Deacon Robert Lee Sullivan, 57, of Waynesboro, GA, entered into eternal rest with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 20,2011 at Georgia Health(s)and(s)Sciences University (MCG) in Augusta, GA. The home going service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Waynesboro Deliverance Church, 938 Old Milien Highway, Waynesboro. GA with Rev. Willie B. Tomlin of Thomas Grove Baptist Church officiating and Rev. Ashley Moore, Jr. presiding, Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery in Waynesboro, GA. A memorial sercive will be held at Thomas Grove Baptist Church, Thursday evening begining at 7 p.m. Robert is survived by his daughters Freya Sullivan of Grovetown, GA, Kenya (Torrence) Sullivan Crumbley of Waynesboro, GA, sons Officer Martelli Davis and Private Hakeem Roberson of Savannah., GA. son-in-law, Rodney Williams of Augusta, GA, sister, Dorothy Sullivan of Augusta, GA, brothers Willie (Ann) Glover, Sr., of Atlanta, GA, and Sandis (Bill) Sullivan of Simpsonville, SC; Julian Moffett (Brenda) of Hephzibah, GA, Jeffery (Maureen) Moffett of Maryland, and Jay Moffett of Fort Lauderdale, FL and seven grand children, one great-grandchild and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Sullivan and mother, Netha Lee Sullivan of Waynesboro, GA, brother Hoke Glover of Maryland, sisters Julia Glover, Joana Sullivan and Charity (Judson) Sullivan of Waynesboro, GA, Burnell (Bo) Sullivan of Waynesboro, Ga., and Connie Sullivan of Augusta, GA. In his early years, be was a Surgical Tech at Burke County Hospital and was well known for his sheet rock finishing expertise and has built many churches, houses and businesses in the CSRA. He also attended Paine College. He was a devoted deacon at Thomas Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, GA under the leadership of Rev. Willie B. Tomlin and was often called to lead devotionals at many churches. The family will receive guests throughout the week in Waynesboro at 776 Highway 56 North at the home of Kenya Sullivan Crumbley, daughter.
