NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral Services for Mrs. Fannie Walden "Miss Fannie" Reese, 75, of Montgomery Place, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest April 24, 2011, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Lakeside Baptist Church. Interment in the Reese Family Cemetery. Mrs. Reese was a native of Athens, Georgia having made the North Augusta Area her home and was the wife of the late Preacher Bill Reese for 56 years. She was a Charter Member of the former Piney Heights Baptist Church now known as Lakeside Baptist Church where she had served as the Youth Director, Church Pianist and founder of the Melody Chorale and Bible Quiz. She was the former Director and Producer of the Television Ministry and Co- Camp Director of the Twin Lakes Youth Camp. Mrs. Reese was a graduate of the University of South Carolina Aiken and Liberty University where she received a Master's Degree and was a recognized Counselor for Youth and Adults having participated in Juvenile Arbitration in Aiken County. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Willis and Susan and Tony Burgess, all of North Augusta, Faith and Daniel Smith, Beech Island; seven grandchildren, Jill Carlton, Emily Crider, Jarrett Willis, Tara Frank, Tip Frank, Brittany Atkinson and Cierra Smith; a great-grandchild, Ella Carlton; her mother, Mae Walden, Athens, Georgia; a brother, John Franklin Walden, Hull, Georgia; two sisters, Sue Walden, Athens, Georgia and Margie Montgomery, Jacksonville, Florida.
