GLOVERVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest on Friday, April 22, 2011, Mrs. Clara Taylor Rutland, of Myrtle Street, Gloverville, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband Collins Rutland and a sister, Josephine Taylor. Surviving are two daughters, Barbara Ann Rutland, Gloverville, SC and Patricia Dominey (Melvin), North Augusta, SC; two sons, Kenneth Rutland (Audrey), Graniteville, SC and Rev. Stan Rutland (Diane), Gloverville, SC; a sister, Bobbie Vaughan (Phillip), Pascagoula, MS; an aunt, Louise Ford, Gloverville, SC; six grandchildren: Timmy Rutland (Margaret), Chris Rutland (Brandy) and Brian Dominey (Stacey), all of North Augusta, SC, Lisa Stotts (Mark) Alpharetta, GA, Andrea Rutland Webb(Steven), Kinston, NC and Christian Rutland(Elisabeth), Louisville, KY; twelve great grandchildren: Taylor Rutland, Bryce Rutland, Lane Rutland, Jackson Rutland, Brayden Rutland, Ryder Rutland, Corey Randolph, Blake Dominey, Hunter Dominey, Kayla Webb, Emilee Webb and Conner Webb and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Rutland was born in Vidalia, Georgia to the late Jim and Fannie Ford Taylor, and moved to Aiken County, SC as a teenager where she spent the remaining years of her life. She retired from United Merchants(s)and(s)Manufacturing with twenty five years of service and was a member of Langley Church of God and their Keenagers Sunday School Class. A Celebration of her Life will be on Tuesday at 2 o'clock at Langley Church of God with Bishop Benny Burton, Rev. Richie Enlow, Bishop Bruce Fox, Bishop Stan Rutland and Rev. Steven Webb officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be Larry Payton, Grady Scott, Jimmy Price, Delma Black, Dale Rutland and Mike Pearson. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Keenagers Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials may be made to: Langley Church of God, 2444 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC or to Hospice Care of the TriCounty, 2220 Woodside Executive Court, Bldg.
