NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. -Mr. Harry Christopher Anderson, 62, husband of Denise F. Anderson, of Whitehall Road, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at his residence. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 22, 2011 in the Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Lloyd Prince officiating. Interment will be in Pineview Memorial Park. Mr. Anderson was a lifetime resident of North Augusta and was of the Baptist Faith. A 32nd degree mason, he was a member of the Martinez Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite. He loved his family, cars, boating, skiing and being outdoors. A man who enjoyed having company, he was known for his wonderful sense of humor and for being a caring and honest person who never met a stranger. Additional survivors include a son, Chris L. Anderson; a daughter, Charlotte Denise Britt and her husband Jeff, all of North Augusta; a brother, Richard J. Anderson and his wife Susie of Belvedere; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Russell Britt and Jacob Anderson Britt; two nephews, Garrett Anderson and Michael Anderson and a niece, Courtney Anderson. The family wishes to express special thanks to all the caregivers of ResCare. Pallbearers will be Ronald Strom, Gary Bailey, George O'Byrne, Sonny Fagan, Gerald Lester and Jeffrey Britt. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening, Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 905 W. Faris Rd. Greenville, SC 29605.
