GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. Mark M. Blanchard, 54, entered into rest on Friday, April 1, 2011. Funeral services will be held at Platt's Belair Road Chapel at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 with Reverend Martino Nguyen. Burial will be private. Survivors include his wife, Theresa M. Blanchard of Grovetown, GA; his mother Ruth W. Blanchard of Grovetown, GA; three daughters, Shelby Blanchard of Grovetown, GA, Ashley West (Jonathan) of Augusta, GA, April Blanchard of Kersey, PA, and one grandchild, Jonathan West, Jr. He is preceded in death by his father, the late Mr. Edward E. Blanchard, Jr., daughter the late Jennifer Blanchard, two brothers, the late Edward E. Blanchard III, and the late Jeffrey Jon Blanchard. Mark was a former employee of Kimberly-Clark in Beech Island SC. and Willamette Industries in Johnsonburg, PA.. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge in Pennsylvania. He loved traveling and spending time with his family. Mark was also and avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan and he also enjoyed playing golf.
