Clois B. Hill (HEPHZIBAH, Ga.)

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Funeral Services for Mr. Clois B. Hill, 90, of Peach Orchard Road, Hephzibah, Georgia, who entered into rest February 14, 2011, will be conducted this Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Hephzibah Baptist Church. Rev. Danny McGill, Rev. John L. Beck and Rev. David Blizzard officiating. Interment in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Hill was a native of Elbert County, Georgia, having made Hephzibah his home for the past 45 years. He was a member of the Hephzibah Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and a member of various communities. Mr. Hill was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a retired Supervisor with Lily Tulip Cup Company and the founder and retired Owner of Southside Monument Company established in 1957. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Stowell Hill and his grandson, Robert Hill. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, David and Patrice Hill, Hephzibah; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debby and Buddy May, Evans and Carolyn and David Blizzard, Townville, SC; nine grandchildren, Carla Ilund, Keith May, Patrick Hill, Casey Nguyen, Rachel Hill, Holli Justice, Mike Blizzard, Lori Gibbs and Steve Blizzard; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Arnett Hill and Calvin Hill, both of Elberton, GA; a sister, Margaret Nelms, Gainesville, GA. Pallbearers will be Keith May, Patrick Hill, Mike Blizzard, Steve Blizzard, Jimmy Hill and Mark Hill. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
