AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Ethel Mae Gantt-Walker, 62, of 125 Fairfield St. NE, entered into rest February 8, 2011 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced. Mrs. Walker was a member of the Ashley Grove Baptist Church and was an usher. She graduated from Martha Schofield High School in 1967. Survivors include her husband, Larry D. Walker, Aiken; 2 daughters, Machelle Gantt and Amber Walker both of Aiken; 1 step-daughter, Tisheba Richardson,Aiken; 1 son, Nearest Demarcus(Sharon) Gantt, Beech Island; 1 sister, Willean Pontoon, Aiken; 1 brother, Willie (Janie Mae) Gantt, Jr., Aiken; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
