Clinton W. Tyler (EDGEFIELD, S.C.)

EDGEFIELD, S.C. - Mr. Clinton Wyman Tyler, Jr., 75, husband of Myrtle Baston Tyler, entered into rest on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at University Hospital. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00pm at Rowland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Meador officiating. Interment will follow at Pineview Memorial Park. Mr. Tyler was a member of the Coastal Conservation Association of South Carolina and the Swamp & Hill Hunting Club. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. He retired as a millwright machinist with Watkins Engineering and was of the Baptist faith. Additional survivors include two sons, C. Wyman Tyler, III and his wife Lisa of Martinez, GA and James M. Tyler, Sr. and his wife Donna of Edgefield, SC; one brother, Henry Buck Tyler and his wife Ellen of Edgefield, SC; one sister, Sonia Tyler Harper and her husband Dick of Edgefield, SC; and eight grandchildren, James Marshall Tyler, Jr., Jerrica Danielle Tyler, Clinton Wyman Tyler, IV, Max Ray Tyler, Zachary Austin Tyler, Samuel Lane Tyler, Vincent Matthew Tyler, and Chase Gavyn Tyler. Pallbearers will be Bruce Mayson, Tyler Mayson, Robert Harper, Cody Harper, Ronnie Reece, and Jeremy Reece.
