BELVEDERE, S.C. -.Mrs. Ina Mae Durden, of Hawthorne Drive, wife of the late Sammie Berry Durden, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at her residence. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Bel-Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Welch officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Mrs. Durden was a clerk at Belvedere Pharmacy for over twenty years. She was a charter member at Bel-Ridge Baptist Church where she was a custodian for twenty years. She was also a member of Young At Heart, the Dorcas Sunday School class and the Donna Collins Rush Bible Study. She is survived by four daughters, Sadie Raines of Belvedere, SC, Jane Lakeman of North Augusta, SC, Shirley Smith and her husband Larry of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Peggy Story of North Augusta, SC; one step-daughter, Joan Gail Durden Gay and her husband Melvin of Belvedere, SC; two step-sons, Sammie Berry Durden, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Aiken, SC and James Walter Durden of Belvedere, SC; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 26, 2010 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Bel-Ridge Baptist Church, 108 Monterey Avenue, Belvedere, SC 29841.
